Challenges in life can affect anyone regardless of economic status, childhood experiences, or social connections. These stressors can impact all areas of life including our relationships with those around us. My goal as a therapist is to first create a safe space and connection so you can feel empowered as the expert in your own life. We will work together, in a way that best suits your needs, to ensure healing and growing.
I have an interest and experience working with anxiety, depression, motherhood, reproductive and women’s health care issues including infertility, pregnancy loss, postpartum depression and anxiety, and barriers to intimacy. I have found that young adults who may be struggling with bullying, self-esteem, relationships/friendships, parent-child relations, sibling relations and transitioning through life stages (including, but not limited to, moving out and going to college) can benefit most from counseling, with an understanding and supportive presence. If you resonate with any of these scenarios, the first and hardest step is to reach out for help.
