I have over thirty five years experience as a clinician and throughout these many years I have developed a therapeutic approach based on collaboration, trust and genuine caring. Just as in any relationship, a positive connection between therapist and client is is the most important ingredient of the counseling alliance. This, along with the knowledge of proven therapeutic techniques and strong clinical skills, provides a recipe for successful outcomes.

Individuals enter counseling for a variety of reasons. Some realize patterns in their lives that are harmful or troublesome in their lives. This may include relationship problems, alcohol/substance abuse and addiction, or long standing unresolved trauma or other emotional conflict. Others may exhibit feelings of depression, anxiety, intrusive unwanted thoughts, guilt and poor self esteem. Symptoms may also include difficulty in social situations, excessive worry, loss and a constellation of other issues that inhibit personal fulfillment.
